Antenna wire could be broken/disconnected, OR shorted.

That's kinda what I'm thinking. I remember when the antenna wire was more like a cable with kind of an RCA jack thingy on the end of it. It was either plugged in or it wasn't.

cables in connectors fail
cables rub against something sharp and over time get cut, which shorts against the metal
etc

Sometimes I WISH! At least I'd know how to work on the radio! But no... 2011 Hyundai Elantra Touring. It does look like a little station wagon though!

I need to get the radio in my car fixed. Right now, only the CD player works. WTTS is all I ever listened to. Just a good mix of new and old.

Well I have been streaming WTTS for over an hour now and dang it - it is better than my usual local station.
Thank you, I will listen to that more now - at least when at home.

Is it better at certain times of the day? Our good local station is better after 6pm when the best DJ comes on.

I mainly listened to it when in my car, so that was usually mornings and afternoons, but I never really noticed one time being better than another.
