Want to be a Firearms Trainer

I would like to get the training to become a certified handgun instructor.
Just looking for info.
I want to train new gun owners in safe operation
and basic skills.

You can charge for NRA courses. As an NRA instructor and range safety officer myself I attend all NRA instructor courses at MadDuck in Ohio and their courses are outstanding. The link to John's site is: http://www.madduckttc.net/

I will echo Jim's comment about MADDUCK. John is a good instructor and a good person as well. I know that it might seem like a bit of a drive to where he is, but it is worth the drive.

Indeed, well worth it.

I recently completed the NRA Range Safety Officer and Chief Range Safety Officer classes from John. Both were very well done and worth the time and drive.

Other than for Law Enforcement, I am unaware of any state of Indiana certification for firearms instructors.
