USPSA March 7th Match at South Central

Well!!! We are going to test the waters!!! I know everyone is going CRAZY and wants to get out and shoot. Looks a Great day weather wise for Indiana, Uspsa Match Sunday the 7th at South Central. We have heard the cry for less round count due to Ammo issues so here goes. 5 Stages 110 rds. Classifier 13-05(if enough people want!!! We can ad a 12 rd. speed shoot) Set up Saturday at 9am. Sign In Sunday at 9am.

Forgive the thread drift but what is "Family Steel"? I have only shot a couple IDPA matches and a couple steel matches but I want to start doing some kind of action shooting this year.

If I was going to guess I’d say it’s an unsanctioned steel match. I’ve shot steel at SCGC a few times but can’t recall if it was an ‘outlaw’ match or not. Always a bunch of friendly people there I seldom miss a USPSA match there

Family steel is a sanctioned match with usually a couple official stages and a couple unofficial stages with results sent in for classification.

There will be 6 Stages with a classifier for 122 rd. We will try and get Pre registration up tonight. Max

Will not be attending due to reduced round count, unfortunately. Just seems like a waste of time/match fee/gas to shoot 6 mags through my pistol.

I agree!! I would rather run a full match with 160-180 rds. but the HERD has spoken and wants less rounds. DAH!!!
