    I see stuff like this and am tempted to get a 1911. A GLOCK is a fine tool, but it's not gorgeous. Good thing medical bills and child care keep my bank account empty enough to dissuade me from such a purchase.

    They used the double hash on all the touchable surfaces. The safety looks like it has been replaced. New, these 1911a1's had a lot of contrasting colors of the park'd finishes.

    I have a friend who traded two real nice M1 Garands for one...

    It's be nice to have one of these WWII 1911's...I concur!
    Being able to acquire one...is the issue!
    Glocks function well...but having something of 'Heritage' in nature, would be amazing!
