Just trying to get work accomplished is a bit daunting some days..I supervised a UAW skilled trades dept. for almost 8 years. I am a degreed engineer and all the guys made more than I did supervising them.
It was very disappointing some days, especially when I would put in 12-14 hour days and they scoot out the gate with 8.
Never had a grievance stick on me thru in my entire time though.
