Trouble with subscription

I am trying to become a Site Supporter but I keep getting this response when I order:

An invalid currency was selected

Any ideas why this would come up?

Sorry for the delay. We hadn't seen this until now

When you reach the paypal screen, is it showing USD for the currency type?
I just renewed my SS status without issue.

1) Choose USER CP (upper right)
2) Choose PAID SUBSCRIPTIONS (left)
3) Choose 1 YR (and dollar amount you wish to pay, minimum 20) from the drop down list
4) Click ORDER (bottom of that page)
5) On the next screen that appears Click ORDER USING PAYPAL
6) Continue logging into paypal, confirm payment, etc.
G) PM member QUE to let them know a payment was made, and he will update your post count to 50.
The paid subscriptions page mentions to PM Scutter. This is outdated and will be changed.

Guess it would have helped if I hit the dollar amount drop down menu.

Now to open a PayPal account.

You don't have to have a paypal account. I don't. But you can use paypal anyway, pay from a credit card.

I think I am going to wait it out a few weeks while I get my feet wet.
