Gone.
For sale is a fully converted Saiga in .223 that I bought on Ingo many many years ago. I have included the description from the original ad and added an update. Sale includes the rifle and SIXTEEN Tapco AK Galil mags. These are cool as they are a little shorter than other 30 round AK .223 mags and the gun runs flawlessly with them. I will also throw in 70 rounds of Wolf Gold .223. Shot this in it and it is accurate.
Note: I will be on the NW side of Indy the afternoon of August 20th through the morning of the 22nd.
Price is now $1,200.00 Firm for the rifle and mags. Cash or Gold/Silver at spot. FTF around Evansville during the week. Within an hour or so on the weekends - Ferdinand, Bloomfield/Scotland, Bloomington, Vincennes, etc.
Not looking for trades but partial trades may be considered. M&P2.0 9mm, Beretta 92x, pre-lock S&W revolvers, left hand common caliber bolt guns, ?
Main change since purchase: on my 3rd or 4th range trip the rifle became a bolt action. Turns out the gas block had blown out with a small visible hole. After some fits with another shop, I smarted up and took it to AllenM. When he got into it we discovered the gas port was WAY oversized. Ended up replacing the barrel with a new USA manufactured one & new gas block. Since then I have put a couple hundred rounds through it and it has been flawless.
Original ad stuff:
This is a Saiga .223 that has been fully converted to an AK102 clone. It is a good shooter and looks very good. Minimal wear. All of the unnecessary Saiga holes were welded up, a riveted (not screwed) bullet guide has been installed, the trigger guard is riveted on and the rear of the receiver has been recontured to accept the real Russian AK100 series folding trunnion with the front latch assembly. It is 922 compliant. Built to use Tapco Galil mags. The round count is around600 now +/-900.

Russian AK100 series folding buttstock (it even has a silver ink Russian proof mark, see picture)
