fullauto45 has some Thompson 30 round sticks that have been modified to fit semi auto thompsons, will these still function in an original ww2 full auto thompson?

    .
I want to say yes. As I rememeber that semi auto mags had a small notch on the otherwise round latch hole and the mag catch was more hook like than the the old Thompsons.

Round hole for the mag catch is unmodified and is correct for full auto. Modified for semi auto, the mag catch will be an obvious oval and may not latch into a full auto properly (usually loose and may or may not feed properly).
