    I think those compressed air rifles can do those numbers, a good question for my neighbor.

    200 feet per second, 20 rounds per minute. I think a sling shot would be better.

    Don't know about the 200 FPS...
    Some kids built a capacitive discharge system on rails for fun, part of an electronics class.

    The projectiles we're fast enough the chronograph wouldn't register them, kept reading error.
    Cranked it down to about 1/4 the caps working and it started to register on the crono at a little over 3,000 FPS.

    There is a lot of potential in the technology, all of it is directed at big guns.
    Too much energy consumption for hand held units right now, we'll see how super caps & new battery technology changes things.
