To all my friends that I know here on the forum and those I know personally and shoot with, I am here. Moved in 3-14-20 and love the new house, the area and the fact we are no longer in the "socialist utopia" of Illinois. Still working on the old house to get it sold but pretty close to being done with that also.
Still have a few things to do to become an official resident, drivers licence and transfer plates, register to vote and apply for my license to carry. Looks like the virus will slow that down with the BMV being closed till April 7th. I had things all planned out with plates, they all expire on 3-31-20. From what I read Indiana is extending registrations till the BMV opens back up. I don't care what Illinois is doing because I don't live there any more, just have to be carefull when going back and forth.
Happy to be here already joined the Vermillion County Indiana 2A Sanctuary Movement, haven't had time to really do anything but things will slow down eventually. I am still on the Board of Directors of a grassroots org based but not limited to Illinois. That is GUNS SAVE LIFE and if you have been on an Illinois interstate you have seen our "Burma Shave" type signs. Jim.
