Oh man you had me for a moment. I would have been interested if it had been an Xcarry.

Yeah, the worst part is I looked up Xcarry when I bought the gun and the price for that is higher than for the Xcompact so I thought I got a pretty good deal. Instead I paid a bit more than I should have.

So if you bought the grip module deo has you would kinda sorta have an Xcarry.

    What frame is that?

BTW, I found out the gun I thought was an Xcarry is actually an Xcompact. No idea how I got the two confused... :n00b:

For the 9mm guns, the way I understand it is below.

    Original P320 Carry (17rd mag) = 3.9" barrel
    Original P320 Compact (15rd mag) = 3.9" barrel
    Original P320 SubCompact (12rd mag) = 3.6" barrel

    XCarry (17rd mag) = 3.9" barrel
    XCompact (15rd mag) = 3.6" barrel

XCompact has the SubCompact sized 3.6" barrel/slide on a Compact (15rd) frame.

And just to add, here's the WC grip module compat chart (which also would go for other modules and provides the mix and match one can do)

You're definitely not an idiot, it's an easy mistake to make.

I appreciate that. Still feel like an idiot, but it is what it is. I'm bummed that I'll likely let the gun go, but the only way I'd keep it is buying a new slide for it, which adds $330 to the gun and it still wouldn't make it something I'd want to carry. Alternatively, if I sell it, I can recoup some gun funds, which will allow me to buy mags and a holster for the X Macro.

Came close to picking up an older German P226 yesterday. Very good condition and had both mags and a box but no papers/test target. The yellow box appeared to be period correct but the serial number on box did not match the pistol. I passed , at least for this time. Also had a great looking two tone P220 Carry with original and wood grips , probably would have bought it if I had not already bought a standard P220 Carry a few months ago.

I'd have had a hard time passing that P220 Carry up. Was it local to Indy?
