A P226 MK25 is at the top my short list. Can't seem to find any.

My son, who is a Submarine Missile Tech informed me that they're slowly replacing their M9s with Sigs....I believe the M17/18

So not super happy with my Carry Legion so far. Specifically the accuracy. It just doesn't seem to have it. Now, could it be me? It certainly could. The other day at the range I was getting very disgusted trying to shoot Freestyle 25 yard groups and barely keeping them all on the B8 replacement center. Thinking man I am really screwing it up today I grabbed my Walther Q5 out of the case and put 5 rounds downrange into what would be a pretty typical group for me with that gun called flyer and all. The Sig gets nowhere close to that.

Anything seem off about the gun? Sloppy barrel fit or something?

No. I have even tried 2 barrels as it came with a threaded barrel which I am not keen on so I bought a Zev replacement when I got it. Tried that one out tonight to see if it was any better. It wasn't. Of course it was 20 degrees snowing and a strong wind but I pulled my truck out onto the range and parked sideways with the motor running and door open shooting with the cab to my back upwind. Ha.

I brought this one home tonight. It’s an early German frame P229 in .40. I have a couple of spare 9mm slides and I’m thinking this might make a good summer carry gun with the 9mm slide

That looks like a great find, 88'. If the exterior looks that good, the interior is probably better !

So, those of you that have seen my posts know I have a signess, and you can’t cure it, it won’t go away, and it’s worse than heroine or cocaine cause there’s no rehab for sigs!

I own 12 pistols all “p’s” (no sig 1911’s or mosquitoes) and honestly there’s only 2 sigs left on the bucket list

    A European 210
    A p230 or p232

Last night i was at a local firearms establishment, when I glanced into the used gun case, and what do I see??? An all black 230 or 232, I don’t know which, because on the tag was some form of foreign writing, it must have been foreign…cause if it was English numerals…it said $700.00!, and it was used, I can tell cause it was missing quite a bit of finish!

But 700??? Am I that far out of the loop too know that 230/232’s are now worth 700 bucks???

    Ha, that is cheap.
Looked at a 232 at the last Elkhart show.
Was SS with night sites, box and I believe 2 mags.
    Was in nice condition.
    Owner wanted $900.

Finally got a decent group out of the Legion. 20 degrees, sunny, and calm. A lot of patience and some Federal 147 grain syntec got me a 2 and 1/4 inch 25 yard group. There was a red 1 inch circle there but the 3rd round hit it and blew it off. Apparently this gun is more ammo sensitive than my Walther.

Keeping in mind that I am not one of the many tier one operators that seem to be prolific on the INGO, but that is some pretty excellent shooting at 25 yards.

Good to hear that it’s starting to come around for you. Maybe it just is working itself in a bit

Now to see if I can get any consistency out of it, and to be able to do it at speed.
