Good Morning. Chip was in the house until about 11 last night. I had to go to bed so took her out to the garage. She was out the cat door and running around in the yard before I was even back to the house. She was waiting for her breakfast when I got up so I guess she is recuperating okay. She has never been a lap kitty or super tame with me so it was kind of nice having her just laying on me last night purring.

Good morning mom! Glad Chip is doing well. :)
I sort of freaked out when I got home and the carrier was empty and hubby said she was somewhere outside. The vet's office gave him zero post surgery instructions when he picked her up so he just turned her loose. That was about 3 or 4 hours after surgery and she was still pretty wobbly. I couldn't find her so was relieved when he finally got her to respond to his calls. I was worried she would be zonked out in the yard somewhere sleeping off the anesthesia and get snatched up by a coyote.

She's never been in the house before, but seemed to really like it. LOL
