Just got hammered with heavy rain, lightning, and thunder. Is calming down now. Dropped from 82° to 67° pretty quick. The thunder scared the hell out of the pooch. He's hiding under his blankey now

Got my chicken salad made. Picked up some croissants to make sammiches the next couple of days.

I'd been seeing the Arby's commercials for their pecan chicken salad so that's what made me want to make it.

Howdy DD, yeah it was crazy for a few. Had to watch it though. Rained hard enough that I couldn't see the river for about 5mins. Thank God I got the lawn mowed earlier, my weedeater guy isn't going to like it though.

I could go for a storm like that. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if we got some hail damage on the roof too. We could use a new roof and gutters.

They're not as expensive as you think. Mine at the time of install were about 1/3-1/2 of the price of the gutters.

Well when the time comes I may look into it. I do know that I'll probably eventually replace our current gutters so I don't know that it would make sense to put them on the old ones.

I always get extra crispy, but I did like original recipe. May have to try that again next time I get KFC.
