Intake and a tune and she hauls @$$. Funny blowing off the line in a crew cab long bed 4x4 and seeing the weird looks. Can do 23 plus MPG if im light on her, but I prefer smiles per gallon to miles per gallon.

It was my first stick shift, but that clutch lasted for over 150,000 miles!
She ended up a little more modified before I sold it, kinda wished I’d kept it and finished it.
Quite a change from the Merc !

Picked up these monsters for $100 on Saturday. I didn't need them. Already have a set of Blizzaks. But for $100? I'll bag them and store them in the basement for a couple of years until I need them. I have the non studded version for the wife's car and they are incredible.
So I was reading to owners manual (OMG I'm old) for the dad wagon. It said new plugs at 120k. I have 122k on it now. So I ordered some new Denso's Iridium and did the swap today. It went off without a hitch. My bet is these are the original plugs. NGK Iridium.
I'll keep an eye on the mileage as I usually do. Although this time a year with warning up the car it goes down some. How much I'm not sure as this is the first winter I've had it.

I have 65,000 miles on a Cruze. I had to change the front brakes, brake fluid, tires, antifreeze, and have a new oil feed for the turbo for the next oil change. The feed tube clogs with burnt oil because it's by the exhaust, then bye bye turbo. This is maintenance not found in the owner's manual.
I did learn something else reading about other people's problems. An aftermarket catalytic converter is usually too small and there's not enough catalyst in them to heat up at start up, and the O2 sensor will lean out long term fuel trim, because the computer checks it at start up instead of highway speed. So the smaller replacement cat will make the car run lean.

I was listening to a podcast and the GM 2.0 turbo was brought up. Let's just say they weren't fans. They were claiming the oil needs changed every 2,000-2,500 miles regardless of the type of driving done. I believe one of them called it the "Sludge generator". Again, this is just one shop owner/junk yard owners opinion.
With the oil line issue, I could see that causing a problem. At least you know about it and take care of it.
It's the 1.4 turd. Clean oil is always better than dirty oil. The sludge will get behind your rings and score the cylinders. The turbos use synthetic to keep the oil cooler. But it's still feeding a turbo attached to a 1800° cat.
My sister had some poo-box GM turbo engine, she finally got fed up with it by the third turbo. She’s a lot more patient than I, I’d have left it in the middle of the lot on fire
Yeah, those a bit eroded. It was past time to replace em. Should run smoother now.
