Fort Wayne, Indiana — On September 22, 2024, around 2:20 p.m., Officer Evan Myers with the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 6700 block of Sullivans Court for reports of a missing 3-year-old child. Officers searched the residence and area for the child with no luck until Myers found the child two houses down in an above-ground pool. The video shows Myers quickly getting the toddler out of the pool to safety.

Looks like someone wisely taught the child to float on their back if they fell in the water.
