    1) driving distracted...
    2) that worker in front of the truck... lucky
    3) that cop was ON THE BALL. Not even a pause for "oh s***". INSTANTLY responds.
Tell me what you think. I looked at it again. After the car lands I don't see there was an inside shoulder. I also did not see LEO with lights behind the flat bed tow. I'm thinking the tow was in an open lane. Looks like it to me. Dang

Better video sound, and slow footage

Inside shoulder: correct. no inside shoulder
LEO with lights: correct. Don't see one

    But..
man in yellow in middle of highway on that side.
buttload of men in yellow on opposite lanes.
buttload of flashing lights in opposite lanes.

Maybe I was raised differently, but I was raised to slow down near emergencies, just in case, because you never know whats going on, and slowing down gives you reaction time.

Not sure why tow is on that side of the highway.
And yes, they could have/should have put up warnings earlier.
Course, maybe they did, and it's further down and we don't see it.
I've seen stuff put up, and people go around it and right back on the lane when nothing is "right there".

All I know for sure is every time I hear that, in my head it’s Arlo Guthrie saying the Sargents line in Alice’s Restaurant.
