Which distilleries did you visit? After hitting the Bourbon Trail, and touring some of the rick houses, the candle I truly want is one that smells like bourbon and old wood.
Have been there for four visits over 14+ years. Multiple times been to the following: Four Roses, Beam, Heaven Hill, Wild Turkey, Woodford Reserve,Buffalo Trace and Makers Mark. Have been to the following once: Willets, Bulleit, Evan Williams Experience, Town Branch. I think I have left 1 or 2 off the list. There is also a CRAFT Distillery tour of smaller places. All were neat. All showcased what they do and how they make their brand different (better). Some have evolved over the years (Most started with folksy tours, and now most have built task-specific buildings just to run tours.) Give your self time, study maps and opening times and enjoy. No way now to do the entire tour in 2-3 days like we did the first few years. Will go back again. Ask any other Q's if you have them. EnjoyWhich distilleries did you visit?
