    If you've ever seen a big owl glide through a thick woods, you've really seen something.
    There’s a barn owl that lives on my property, and I have lots of trees. It is pretty fun to watch him zoom around without a sound.

    My driveway runs for about 2/10s of a mile through the trees, and I’ve noticed that the local Hawks use it like a highway.

    But that falcon threading that gap was pretty amazing

    If you've ever seen a big owl glide through a thick woods, you've really seen something.
    This is very true, they are amazing. If they come from behind you they will really startle you because they are so silent. You can hear a hawk, a crow or a grouse when they fly close to you but you don't hear an owl. They have feathers that are different than other birds that reduce the air turbulence around them and make them silent - freaky silent.
