Thinking about this post reminds me, they forgot two pioneers, Richard Pryor and Lenny Bruce. That makes six people that today's snowflakes not only could not handle, they would burst into flames. Jim.

I had the same thought about Pryor not on there.

I seen "Live in Concert" @ the old Regency Twin movie theater on Shadeland Ave in Indpls back in the day when it came out.
Pryor was the man, Murphy couldn't hold Richard jock, even if he ever wanted to.

When Pryor made the movie "Stir Crazy" one of the actors in it was Tex Cobb, heavyweight fighter that played another inmate. He was out doing a promotional spot on "Johnny Carson" and Johnny asked him what it was like working with Pryor. "That is the funniest person God ever let live." I don't see how anyone could argue with that. Jim.

Not really a fan of the humor of discomfort. Insult people, say bad words, make people feel uncomfortable so they laugh because they don't know what else to do. It's not really funny even if you laughed.
