    I find it just a tad on the hypocritical side that he 'Anonymously' submitted an editorial proposing universal identification for Internet users.

    How do we know it is even a cop? Yeah it says in the article they posted in the "Ask a cop" section, but anyone can pretend to be anything/anyone they want on the internets.
