This is what you get when you engage in price controls. (That is exactly what campaign finance limits are.) The money will flow anyway but in the dark, not in the light of day. If I made the campaign regs all donations to campaigns would be unlimited, and must be disclosed on the candidates and FEC website in 24 hours…

Money talks, the bigger it is the louder it talks.

    Arnold Rothstein

Sadly leadership and the games the play look more like the mafia everyday.
TPTB don’t like to talk about this but Regan hated fund raising and said he would only run if they got the money for him to run. (Campaign finance as we know it was not yet in place.) As I understand it a handful of millionaires financed his run. By limiting campaign donations those in power actually reduce competition to the rich (Bloomberg, Trump) or the parties and bundler have control. It really does resemble a mafia…

If the polls and predictions are even half way right the Republicans should take back the House of Representatives in November elections.

Only way Democrats can hold on or gain is by cheating.

Lot's of ways to pull out a win. Hillary threw out a scam that stuck for years after 2016 election, and is still sticking on the far left. Some still insist the Russiagate narrative was true. R's may hold some advantage in the number of sane people voting. But D's hold an advantage in all the institutions necessary to control narratives. It's slipping as Covid made a lot more people aware of just how corrupt media is. But it's still an advantage. We'll see how the school shooting sways voters in the weeks to come.

And he won so there is no chance anyone will investigate vote fraud in GA, that is what this is about. How does a party stop this?
How does a party stop cross over voting? They can petition the legislature to change the law that allows for it. Although I've heard of repubs doing the same. Heck there were several on this site talking about it a few years ago, even after being informed that what they were talking about doing/did was in fact illegal.

If a state allows crossover voting, it’s just gonna happen. This is partly why we were stuck with Donnelly. No way Dems could unseat Lugar. So along comes a Republican challenger who is easy to smear as someone with radical views. So dems vote for Mourdock in the primaries. He beats Lugar, and then a Democrat friendly press plays their part and asks him a gotcha question which they already knew what his answer would be. Worked like a charm.

One thing about that, Lugar asked the dems to cross over. He knew he was getting his *** kicked in polling.

That is how I remembered it. This is how they beat conservatives.

RNC, Arizona GOP respond to ballot issues in Pinal County, Arizona
Following ballot issues out of Pinal County, Arizona, Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel and Arizona GOP Chairwoman Kelli Ward released the following comment:

“During Arizona’s primary elections, the RNC and Republican Party of Arizona's poll observer program documented and reported multiple failures by Pinal County’s Elections Administrator, including 63,000 mail-in ballots delivered to the wrong voters and multiple Republican-heavy precinct locations running out of ballots. This is a comprehensive failure that disenfranchises Arizonans and exemplifies why Republican-led efforts for transparency at the ballot box are so important. Pinal County Elections Director David Frisk should resign immediately.”

On Tuesday, several precincts in the county reportedly ran out, or began running low, of in-person ballots for voters. The county also reportedly delivered several thousand mail-in ballots to the wrong voters.
