    Good afternoon all!
Norm is feeling good and like I won the (GB) lottery :bacondance:

Picked up the new shiny today. Surplus, born in 1993 and it looks like it never had a shot fired through it! Got it for the minimum opening bid (and would have paid a bit more if I had been able to really see the condition in the GB pics

Here is how it looked when I bid

here are my pics. When I field stripped and cleaned there was ZERO carbon anywhere. Not a spec of dirt. A few slight dings and wear in the sharp edges but look like it was never even carried. I could not be more pleased with a GB purchase than this. Range report early next week.

Prepper Gun Shop email just came in with a ton of CZ deals. P10C OR for $550 shipped, which is a heck of a deal for a gun you can't find pretty much anywhere. Plenty of others, but you have to put them in your cart to see the sale price and I don't feel like checking all of them. If you're looking for a CZ, hit their site and check them out.

I bought a cheap 1911 (was a Llama and the worst gun I ever owned) about 30 or so years ago. That along with a not so cheap Para-ordnance frame kit gun with a national match colt gold cup slide from what was supposed to be a gunsmith burned me on 1911s to the current day.

I'd have been much better off buying a complete colt gold cup national match at the time (would have been cheaper than the Para)

Was probably a lot cheaper in the long run the way it worked out honestly.

I made a bit more progress with the DAW. Today, I finally received the vibration-isolation pads for the reference monitors, so that I could get them set, and calibrated.

Now, I must shop for some new audio recording software, because my original (free) software that came with the USB interface .... has gone to subscription service !

    .
    Good news!

Found a hi power to buy. Well, for someone to buy.

Long time since I've seen one of those. I think you get that set up non NFA if it's all original, much like Broomhandles.
