    I’ll probably leave it alone.

Wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a dot. Worried that my go-to Romeo will look too wide sitting on that slide.
Even if you don’t shoot dots, have you seen any that look out of place? Or look right like they belong?
Romeo1 on my SP-01 with dovetail plate from Sig. Did this to see if I would like a RDS. Will likely be getting the slide milled sometime soon but for now this works pretty well. Was hitting steel at 100 yrds with it offhand the other day at the range once I figured out where to aim.

That looks better than I thought it might. Mostly concerned about the width hanging over but that looks fine.

    Thanks!

Looking at a magwell for the 1911 Garrison. I like the looks of the Stan Chen SI, but a little bit spendy. Anyone use an EGW 2-piece?

Thinking of pairing them with these Cool Hand starburst grips.

I had one for a short while and didn't care for it. Ended up going to Smith & Alexander 1-piece for $95 on my stainless cmd and am very happy with it.

I like the look of that one. Looks clean and smooth in that lower rear portion where it contact the palm. That's what I'm mainly after is to get rid of the pointed area the gun has now.

Whew! I thought saying “1911” on this thread would get me banned. Thanks for breaking the ice for me!

Yep. The 1911 was a favorite of CM and many of us. CZ owns Dan Wesson too.

Hey TD, you should get your order in with Wright Leather Works for a certain 1911 Commander. Also notice the back line of the magwell extension.

Any change of mind and the 1911 can stay comfy in my holster. :D

I assume that's a S&A magwell. I believe CM liked those and EGW.

No chance, one of the reasons I've been looking forward to FGE. I have cash set aside.
