Lots of rain came through this way about 11pm last night. There was one lightning strike near our yard barn that scared the dog and he was PITA for another hour afterwards. I think he wanted me to crawl under the bed with him

For my fellow rimfire rifle enthusiasts. I've been following this gentleman, Justin Amateur, over at Sniper's Hide for quite awhile and have determined he's a reliable resource for rimfire precision shooting. He's also on Rimfire Central as "JAIA", but I'm not over there as much.

Anyways, he's been doing a 50rds @ 100yards and 50rds @ 200yards research project with test results of damn near all rimfire ammo. It's very good information and is worth the reading.

    VERY good conversation here:

Had some decent storms here last night. Definitely needed it though, yard was dry and Jeep was dirty.

One of my friends asked me if I would attempt to clean up her uncle's old Stevens shotgun. It's got a nice coat of surface rust. Will post pictures later.
