Revisiting barrel tuners again. The one I had in mind was $200 and I wasn't sure I wanted to spend that much for an experiment. I discovered this morning that Harrel makes a couple of AR-15 tuner brakes that will work just fine on rimfire. They're threaded 1/2-28. One has spiral radial holes and the other is the Churchmouse special edition 2-port brake (also known as a loudener :) ). They're only $90.

Rained here in Versailles....PUMPKIN SHOW PARADE is in an hour.

Not raining currently and blue skies to the north -- so....................nobody knows.

Crowds will be diminished, I assume.

Wife up with the grands in Fishers, so I am lone-ing it.

    In Other News :

I tried to go shooting at my range yesterday and and they were CLOSED - unable to shoot because of
neighbors and progressives that hate firearms are trying to shut it down.

Too much to explain here - but supposedly will be opening back up as berms have been heightened etc. etc.

    More Later.

    Morning all :coffee:
I will not be able to get to the FGE as it is on the same day as my Great Grandson's (twins) 1st Birthday party. This bums me to no end but family does come first. I hope everyone has a great time and that many pictures are taken.
Sorry to hear that, but certainly understandable. 1st birthday celebrations are always a special moment for family.

You will be missed but first birthdays only happen once. Err. Twice for twins…

I particularly like them being stacked on pallets!
I have 3 more to use. My wood stove is very efficient, my gas bill during the winter is only about $30 a month. Uses only outside air for the combustion. As such, it has no ash pan so I have to let the fire go out and clean it out. Only have to do that about every five days.
