Just ordered up 250 rounds of 20 grain CCI 17 hmr from CCI direct. $99.95 + tax, shipped free, thanks to a post by @cb46184

Been wanting to find some 20 grain.

Can't afford the big boy bolt gun calibers, nor would my shoulder appreciate it, but I'm down with the little almost pellet gun caliber that can explode tree rats.
The 20s work good on squirrels. Still headshots only. Less damage than the 17s though.

Wish you'd asked. Think I have a Kidd rear tang I took off the one I have.
It's only a $24 part. That's like pennies now considering what I've bought lately.

Hell, I considered the option of buying a Kidd receiver, Kidd bolt and another trigger group. Then put the TCR22 back to stock form and reselling it to offset the costs.

I now see why I never considered doing a full on 10/22 build. The $$$ just keeps adding up. And I'm being distracted from my 457 and Howa bolt gun adventures.

Most scratch builds do add up quick lol. Ive noticed threaded bull barrels for 10/22s are kind of hard to find right now too.
