Upgrade time thanks to Mr. Brown Socks! Not even a week; including a Sunday even. Shell eject, stage right.

Had to start over on the hand spring for the 1849, it didn't make it through heat treat. Fortunately I have lots of shim stock.

I'm home from the cabin. Other than the plumbing emergency, it was a great (5) night trip down there. Today started to get mega-hot, and with the thunderstorm approaching, it was a good day to return to the bigger nest.

Shooting the new pellet gun was fun. It's nice to be able to do it in my meadow, without worry. I can't do that with Brutus ! ;)

I wish I knew enough to ask a decent question.

I'm thinking a Greg Cote order for CZ mags. Was also looking at a P226 (9mm) slide assembly on Osage's site. Currently, mine is only chambered for .357 Sig. Will probably just hem and haw and do nothing like I've been doing about a P-01.

The hem and haw...one of my favorite moves!

I just ordered some mags from him, placed order on Sunday, 6/13, late evening. Mags shipped next day and I received them on Thursday, 6/17. I always check his site for mags and if he's competitively priced order from there.

The below project started in October of 2019 with a sweaty surplus CZ (after time with H45, Mouse and THE Wizard) and a Daniel Defense handrail (because if you have one part - you must build a gun around it). The idea was to build a Wilson Combat sorta Mk18 clone the way I wanted.

The bulk of the Wilson parts didn't get ordered until the grand plan (ie COVID) was in full swing. Part after part was delayed until the last part (a NiB WC BCG) was received a month or so ago. As the parts were assembled, I realized one handguard screws had gone missing and, of course, were back ordered from Daniel Defense. Finally received them and everything is together now; just waiting on a YHM Turbo K suppressor to be released from jail (3 1/2 months in).

So class, that is my show and tell for the day...
