Nice shooting. I really like those Glow Shot targets. I bought several different sizes from Amazon and they were priced very well. More importantly, they really help to see hits on target at distance.

I just got them. I think your postings got me to try them. Thanks.

I wasn't sure how well holes would show up in the black with my new target camera system. It worked well today for my first use.

Pretty sure thats a starter solenoid or the starter itself. Usually when you window the #8 cylinder on a big block Chevy you take the starter with you.
Looks like a starter to me as well. Don't think the block liked those RPMs.

Late night at the shop tonight. Just stopped for some Chipotle burritos and an INGO break.

Yeah it does look like a starter. Thanks guys.

Since the title said "piston leaving the engine", my brain saw piston...with a pop can stuck in it.

Looking at it once it was identified and ignoring the red part, it's obviously not a piston. I'm just going to claim a senior moment here and hope you all had a good laugh.

And......the 2nd Ebay seller just canceled my tripod order and refunded my money.

"Out of stock or part was damaged".

I remember posting early on awhile back when I first looked at their ads and said something here about both of these sellers looking kinda shady. My gut feeling was right.....

I'm really thankful for my new one from Samy's!!!!!

To be fair it might have been, ive seen it. Not in the cylinder with the piston but ive seen guy use rubber hose to water bottles or pop/beer cans as catch can overflows just ziptied to whatever down in the belly pan. Sometimes you have to improvise lol.

Good to have one to use now...Yes?
Yeah, it's pretty amazing. I look forward to using it at SGE. Any my spotting scope has a cell phone adapter that I've used before. That is quite handy to record video when shooting by yourself and watch the round by round replay.
