I'm as big a pack rat as most but trying to do better. It's easy to keep stuff until you run out if room. I try not to keep as much stuff that " I might need" but won't hardly get rid of stuff that would be hard to replace. LE is right, gun stuff doesn't take up as much room as cars and car parts
The difficulty for me is when something is still "good" or "functional" then it is not easy to part with it. After I move something several times and I still haven't used it then that makes it easier though.

I was the same way for years. Not so much now. It just makes no sense.

The Slik tripod I ordered last Friday still hadn't showed shipped. Called Samy's Camera and the one they showed couldn't be found, so now it's on backorder. They did not notify me of this, but did give me the option of cancelling. They have an order from March 18th that is waiting to be filled and said it normally only takes a few weeks, so expect restock any day. I told them to keep the order in place for now, but I would be looking around and they even gave me another retailer to check with.

As long as I get the tripod before SGE, I won't be upset.

Yeah, I've actually had my dad shredding like an Enron intern the last few days. Today was movers and us helping them hoof it all into the facility as it saved time which saved $$.

Tomorrow will be actual setup of the new place.

I started to pull kitchen cabinets today. Once the stove, dishwasher and sink are gone, it will be rough. Hopefully not for too long though.

    Pretty much Michigan.
Long frakkin day. My moms equinox died on her today so i had to dip out of work early, rent a u haul trailer, then drive to Akron to take my pontiac to her and bring the equinox back. Oil was down to maybe 1 quart if that (took 4 to get it in the dipstick) and it cranks like it has no compression. Im sure it jumped time since the timing chain tensioner is oil pressure driven (WTH GM?!?). It only had 2300 miles on the oil change, manual calls for 7,000 mile intervals, its always burned about 1.5 quart between 3k changes so no clue why it burned up all its oil. Bone dry underneath so it wasnt leaking. Ill tear into it this weekend i guess, probably going to see if LKQ has a motor for it then sell it. Friggin DONE with that POS.

    How was yalls day? Lol
