Day 3 (really 2.5) of deck work being started.

I will have to share pics once my big new deck is done being erected re-built. Probably be at least a couple more days, but thinking depending on weather things should be moving along.

Day 1 (started mid morning/day once materials were delivered) was alot of demo of existing.
Day 2 was more demo and suring up of the structure that is being kept, and laying some outer boards.
Guessing Day 3 will be go a bit faster depending on what the weather does.

I did haul in some bags of concrete mix that were on the driveway after the crew left yesterday to avoid potential rain contact. Glad I did. A little interesting with the current back situation, but wheel barrow and many trips was helpful there.

Somewhat unusual ..... a mallard drake and hen landed in my neighbors back yard last night.

We usually get a mating pair nosing around our yard each spring. During hot dry weather, I'll put a sprinkler out for them or maybe let the hose run in the driveway for a bit. They seem to like just sitting in the cool water
