Practice runs?

Occasionally we will see the A-10s from FWA "playing". I swear they are doing simulated runs over the reservoirs but I have never asked. I prefer to not have my assumption clouded by the facts.

IIRC last year the flyover was the Thunderbirds. The Indy Star says this year the race day flyover will be F-16 Vipers. We used to see. A-10s when there was a wing a Grissom in years past but have not seen them for a while. Would not want to be looking at tier business end (despite the fact that Brandon says you need F-16s to fight .gov I think A-10s are more fearsome for ground dwellers—but what do I know [as he cleans his AR-15])

Grounds have been watered, along with the turkeys. Sprinkler games are the best of games I'm told. The girls' sunflower patch looks promising. Quite a number of sprouts about 1"-1.5" above ground. 3 varieties planted this year. #1 is mad the strawberry she was saving to pick today was stolen by a bird.

Happy Saturday folks! (Wednesday Patience?)

One thing that always amazes me about this thread is how it's kept alive by a core group, yet, not the same core group as time marches along. New people wander into this thread with a couple of posts and before long, they've become veterans of the Czickness that form this core group. Some wander off again over time, but the tone of this thread has not changed much in somewhere north of 250,000 posts, despite the people having largely changed. How cool is that?
