Benchmade sent an email advertising these.

I've carried SOCP's for some time and overall am happy with what they do. I wonder though if the Mini's wouldn't do most of the same job in a slightly shorter package? I am really attracted to the redesigned sheaths also. Benchmade seems to have addressed the problems I've had with the sheaths.

I should think of something like this. And get some training since I know very little about knife fighting. I think I'd rather have this than my folder.

There are just so many instances when I can't carry. At least this would beat throwing stones if I gained some handling skills with it. Or an accompaniment to my pistol.

Who's a good online dealer to buy from? Knifeworks?

And who/where could I get some training?

He used to be on those Outdoor Channel gun shows. "Trigger Time".
Pretty knowledgeable guy. I've wanted a clinchpick forever but looks like you'd split your thumb!! Lol
Yeah, I've seen him in some of the WPS videos. Heck I think he could just look at someone and kill them!

I was just looking at that Clinch Pick. Is it because of the double edge, you think it could split your thumb?

What do you think about the Kabar TDI? Now that I'm considering a defensive knife my paralysis of analysis is going to kick in, lol.

BW, share some of your knife knowledge since you have had knives for awhile.

I've known LEOs that have used both the TDI and the Benchmade CBK. Both seem very usable.
