One nit to pick. i wish news sources would quit saying 'those numbers are impossible' because they're not, they exist and are what was being reported by the state's ballot counting system

It would be better if they said something like 'those numbers have to be generated by fraud, mathematically they could not arise naturally'

Many articles I read do just that but it doesn't fit neatly in a headline...

Usually the mods are the ones to close a maxed out thread and start another continuation thread.

This was mentioned in the old thread but to bring it up here is the story. My question is, did the Trump campaign delay their best cases until this realignment of the court? Would be interesting to see who had the battleground states before this.

It is ordered that the following allotment be made of The Chief Justice and the Associate Justices of this Court among the circuits, pursuant to Title 28, United States Code, Section 42 and that such allotment be entered of record, effective November 20, 2020.

  • For the First Circuit – Stephen Breyer, Associate Justice
(Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island)
  • For the Second Circuit – Sonia Sotomayor, Associate Justice(Connecticut, New York, Vermont)
  • For the Third Circuit – Samuel A. Alito, Jr., Associate Justice(Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virgin Island)

Interesting. Can someone explain what impact (if any) this might have related to the election appeals?

This is the justice the singlehandedly can issue orders pertaining to states in the circuit like stopping an action until the full court can hear or vote to hear the case. It is a big deal. Similar to the NFL replay and how the call on the field can make or break the replay call.

So a state decided to just shred all ballots that support a Trump lawsuit, ACB might stop the shredding but Kagen might not...
