New member, but I've had a few lingering questions I've been meaning to ask or look into. My first is my Raging Judge. It's for sure a range toy.. I'm ok with that. But when using the 454 rounds the cartridges always get stuck in the cylinder. I have to knock them out with a screwdriver or the sort. I contact Taurus and they said that's not normal. So I sent it in. They had it for 9 months then just returned a new one. Same issue.. only with the 454 rounds. I know they have a lot of pressure and I'm sure the casings are expanding.. but it seems odd that they get stuck so much. Any others with this issue either with this gun or when using this round in another gun? Thanks!

This may sound like a strange question, but how well do you lube your guns?
Believe it or not, too much oil/ lube in a cylinder can cause case sticking issues.

I probably don't lube the cylinder at all other than residual from cleaning (Ballistol). Maybe not enough lube?
    No.
No lube in the cylinders and none on the ammo.
I have a Raging Bull in .454 Casull and I don't have the issue you have.
What brand of ammo are you using?

I've had good luck with MagTech

Maybe a few colts before the .454's just to "warm up".. but less than a dozen. The .454's I've been using are the Federal Fusions. I assume those are decent? I haven't tried MagTech but have had good luck with those in other calibers. I don't use the gun much.. but I'll search around for MagTechs..
