Went to the range to zero the scope today. Started at 25 yards.Shot low and to the right. After a few adjustments I was shooting 200 grain ftx Hornady ammo and basically put them thru the same hole....stretched it out to 100 and the damn wind started blowing me around. Its accurate as hell if you can hold it still. The pic is the hundred yard. When the wind aint blowing its ass off ill report better on its accuracy.Shot sixty rounds thru it....recoil really aint bad,the muzzle blast is awesome though. I bought the .454 Casull Raging Bull before the .460 came out.
Mine wears an 8-3/8" ported barrel with a full lug.
It's a big piece of hardware, but it's fantastic to shoot.
I'm thrilled so far.Im going back to the range soon as possible when the wind ain't blowing 40 mph.The group this things capable of at a hundred is awesome.

I've now fired 240 rounds and have determined this is (the) hunting setup I've always wanted. Fun to shoot but very expensive.Ive added a bipod and a Burris scope. If anyone thinks Taurus hunting revolvers are junk...I beg to differ. View attachment 359928

Save your brass and have it reloaded. Saves 50% on ammo costs easily.

Caleb Giddings (a former member of INGO) is currently on an African safari, and he has taken a few animals with a Taurus Raging Hunter, I'm hoping he will write some articles about it.
