Be careful, it's a slippery slope! Nothing says Tacti-cool like a ported barrel. Factory Marlin porting in this case. Can't say that the porting helps anything, but the Red Dot truly helps my old eyes get on target fast. I think I'd like to put a big loop lever with the leather wrap on it.

Wonder how many zombies a heavy 44 mag round would put down with each shot?

neat concept. The practicality (or lack thereof) gets me with those. Lever guns are just so expensive now. I will give you it would be a lot easier to hunt with a gun finished with all plastic and no wood. But having spent close to $2,000 I don't know if I'd want to hunt with it.

I like the concept, but hate the POF handguard they have on it.

They should have made it look like this. I'd buy the top photoshopped version in.0005 seconds.

I would favor traditional but if you already have one, this is a great way to go. That is a beautiful gun in its own right
