Well, I drank the cool-aid. And I love it. It is so much fun. Zero recoil. Very accurate.
Henry Big Boy X. RPP upgrades and a Holosun. Thanks to Havlin’s for putting on the handguard!
Now I just need to decide on a can for it.
357. Now I want all the calibers!Love love love it !!!! What caliber is it ?
I just yesterday picked up a Marlin 1895 45/70 that I plan on going a very similar route with
Looks great as-is IMO!Posted before: Older Marlin 336 cut to 16.5", LOP shortened a bit, Birdsong T Green finished, Skinner tactical winged peep sights and a Burris Fastfire II. I was going to paint the stock with textured bed liner but I am on the fence about that. Only thing I need to do is attach a cartridge holder to the side.
Very pleasant to shoot and accurate.

Don't paint the walnut with textured Bed liner on that 336 SC. Call me and we can make a switch for a glenfield 30 birch stock with factory inlays and you can paint away and attach a weapon light on it.Posted before: Older Marlin 336 cut to 16.5", LOP shortened a bit, Birdsong T Green finished, Skinner tactical winged peep sights and a Burris Fastfire II. I like this look, but I would bet It's much heavier than the plastic stock.
Yeah, and the M16 was lighter than the M14, which was lighter than the M1 Garand. Guys that were a lot smaller (on average) than guys are now were lugging 10 lb. rifles around. That impresses the hell out of me.I like this look, but I would bet It's much heavier than the plastic stock.
