Just ran across this, seems the Italians need the money. After selling off Breda Sniper Garands they are dumping some carbines.

I've always wanted one...still kicking myself for not getting one when they were cheap and abundant. I signed up...we'll see how they price them.

I have one that I got when my dad passed. He bought it in the 50's at an KMART!

It's a great shooter. Recoil is nothing.

Back in the 90’s I purchased 800 of the freshly imported carbines for $90 each, and each one came with an original 30 round mag, a sling, and an oiler. I sold most of them for $125 each. Of course I got more for the Irwin Peterson’s, the “line outs” and the “un-quality”. My guess is that the new ones will start at a price point of about $500, and go up from there depending on condition and maker.

I've owned a 1941 Inland for many years. Really not a remarkable gun but a fun plinker. Wonder if the decks in Washington will be going after these also.

They are lightweight and an easy pack gun. It's about like a carrying a .22

IN deer legal, FWIW, and effective at ranges typical of IN wooded hills areas.

I would think they could ask 1500 each and sell them quickly in todays market. What is the deal with the round it uses, is it now something not commonly used?

As far as I know it's only used in the M1 carbine and there's also at least one revolver (Ruger I believe) chambered for it. SGAmmo has had Korean surplus ammo in stock for quite awhile. New manufacture is also available, but like most everything else now, not all that easy to find.

And S&B commercial (for a buck a round).
