Yep, the world smells weakness, like a fart in a car. As soon as Obama-era rules are EO'ed back into place, a lot of Central American parents are going to be tucking money into their childrens' pockets, and sending them towards the border unattended.

Hardly anybody bothers sneaking in anymore. Once Obama signaled the US would treat Asylum claims loosely, everybody just started walking up to the nearest Border Patrol Agent and turning themselves in. Applicants who understand how to work the Obama Asylum Scam get to spend their processing time _inside_ the US in detention. Combined with administrative time limits for detention, a complete work-around of the system is created.

So the message to Central American parents was clear. Whether there is an adult present or not, the _expectation_ of these parents is that once the child spends the requisite period in detention, a relative / guardian already (illegally) in the country can just come pick them up, and they "disappear."

My guess is, most of the "Asylum Scam" provisions will not make it into Biden's upcoming Immigration Bill. The Pathway to Amnesty will be legislatively addressed to make it ironclad in the courts, but the provisions of the "Asylum Scam" will exist only in Executive Orders.

By letting more people in on Asylum, even as the current illegals receive Amnesty, the Executive Order "Asylum Scam" creates the human constituency for the _next_ Amnesty.

If the American people want our country to be run as a Sally Struthers Cat Shelter for Humans, that should be put through the Congress and voted on.
