stubby hi-power?

I tried guys...I really tried.
But the CZ75 Omega set up for SA just doesn't trump my Hi-power for shootability and ergonomics.
So... am thinking (have for a while actually) about a stubby hi-power set up for carry.
There is the FM Detective model out there, but it is almost as rare as hens teeth it seems.
Some of the big name big gun houses will chop a hi-power down as well.
Tisas was making a full stainless steel clone a few years ago that was getting high marks, that would be cherry for a cut down one.
Musing out loud, and keeping my eyes open at this point.

I was going to go with a Detective for a custom carry EDC then went another route. Sweet shooter for sure. Just sits in the safe now. Since I just ordered a Staccato, have a pristine T-series and have a couple M&P's for 9mm double stack... Doubt I'll ever do anything with it. They are stupidly priced and only seem to go up.

I hate to say it but wait till Springfield Armory makes their announcement tommorow (supposed to be a Hi Power) might get lucky and that will be a model they make.
