Start Noon
We are using the pop up tents and heaters. As a result our format changes.
Even though the match officially starts at noon, shooters normally start arriving around 10.
Once there are 4 shooters, we can put up the tents. Any less than 4 and it is difficult.
When the tents are up, all targets are posted, 25, 50 75 and 100.
The first relay, 4 shooters, can then start, they will shoot all the way through in a 1 hour time limit.
When complete, the 1st relay will collect their targets, remove their gear from the firing line and then score their targets.
Relay 1 can score their targets in the clubhouse and then leave or wait for the rest of the results.
The next relay can post all their targets as the frames become available. They can also move their equipment to the line, however, there isn't
any handling of firearms while someone is downrange.
Any additional relays will follow the same format.
This is an 85 round paper target match with unlimited sighter rounds.
Shot at 25, 50, 75, and 100 yards. The targets are bullseye inside the outline of a groundhog.
Shooters may shoot from a bench or prone and use any front and rear rests including one piece rests. One piece rest scores are used for payback system only, not official results.
Payback is modified Lewis.
Cost for this match is $15.00, second rifles are $10.00.
