    Thats sounds sketchy for it to be a factory gun.

    I have been wrong before and may be now but that might be a parts build up.
    I can find no references to an SA "GI" Operator any where.
    The Combat Operator yes. Looks very similar but just can not be sure.

    Private sale...???

    I think I remember this one, they were factory guns but this one the slide looks a little off like it's coated or polished/blued. It should be a standard Springfield matte finish.
    That finish is funky looking. If you zoom in it looks like it's almost painted on with a brush. It's not a polished/blued. It's some kind of a thick coating job and not very good at that.

    I definitely would get it stripped and have it cerakoted if it were mine.
