Owner would rather trade for a Springfield Armory 1911 45 ACP Range Officer.
He's open to a trade for a Colt .45 ACP in trade if it has good adjustable rear sights.
Comes with box & 4 magazines.
Two of the magazines are Wilson Combat.
Dual magazine holder fits on belt.
I am selling this for a 76 yr. old friend who is a collector, all-around gun enthusiast & shooter, but is trimming the safe.
He has enjoyed this 1911 since 2016 & between 400-500 rounds during that time.
In 2018, his gunsmith (Darrell Cox of Ashmore IL), "tweaked" this Range Officer to make it shoot even smoother than factory by polishing trigger, action, feed ramp & slide.
Features:
- Forged national match frame and slide are mated with a match grade stainless steel barrel and precisely fit bushing for maximum accuracy
- 5" barrel with fully supported ramp provides an extended sight radius, making getting hits on target even easier
- Parkerized finish looks sharp and is corrosion and rust resistant
- Extended beavertail safety includes a memory bump for positive activation
- Long aluminum match grade trigger and skeletonized hammer enable a smooth firing action
SPECIFICATIONS:
Caliber: 9mm
Sights: target fully adjustable rear sight
Weight: 41 oz. (with empty magazine)
Length: 8.6″
Height: 5.5″
Slide: Forged carbon steel
Frame: Forged carbon steel
Barrel: 5″ stainless steel match grade, fully supported ramp
Grips: double diamond cocobolo
Magazines: 9-round x4
Must have IN driver's license & LTCH.
I live in Wanamaker, which is NE of Greenwood, outside of E465.
Middle & bottom two 5.75" circles are the Springfield Armory 9mm 1911 Range Officer
Ignore the top two circles.
5 rds each target at 30'.
Since I see only 3 rds on the bottom right pic, there must have
been another round going in both the the middle & 4 o'clock hole?
