How do you like the Lews? I've been eyeing them at Academy on line.

Omg, i absolutely love it. It was my first baitcaster but i have a couple more now. Its my favorite and 9/10 this is the reel im using. It actually rides shot gun daily. (I do a lot of 30 min sessions on my way home from work). I just got the rod last weekend. Big upgrade from the Berkley lightning rod.

Crappie are hitting this week! Monday, hubby and the neighbor limited out...this was day two and today he had 18 in about an hour.

Where ever my GPS says I am
Bought a new cheap fishing pole today. I rarely fish but wasn’t happy with my open face. Bought a baitcastor from meijer (I was there, it looked okay for my needs). Next free fishing weekend is my target time to use if I don’t before then.

Best crappie fishing for me in last 45 years. This 14”ER on day before Palm Sunday...raw, miserable day but best crappie day of spring.

    Smallest bass of the year.

April walleye trip on Erie didn’t happen...thanks Covid. We did go for 3 days mid-July. Limit ( for all of us ) each day by 9:30 - 10.

    Sorry having issues sizing pix.

It's warmer down here, but to cold for me to fish for now. I kayak for crappie.
Some of the sellers at the auction house have been bringing fishing supplies to sell. One seller at the dealer's auction had Duck Dynasty 6 ft spinning combos. They sold for $10, buy a box of 6 for $7 each, I bought a box. Hope to sell them for $10 to 15. Looking online they are $40.
That seller was at a regular auction. He had 5 different spinning reels in boxes of 4 that sold for $15, he sold 3. I would have taken all if he would drop the price to $8 to 10. Online price was $29 to 40 each. Try to sell them for $12 to 15.
