These were originally sold to me a long time ago as South African 7.62x39 battle packs, each consisting of 200rnds of brass cased ammunition. My google-fu seems to confirm that this is accurate, and I don't have any other reasons to suspect it isn't.
Aimsurplus currently has Wolf steel case in stock, for which it would cost you $355.36 to order 800rnds with no insurance and the cheapest shipping option to Indy. So I figure $300 bucks for 800 rounds of brass is a pretty fair deal.
Can meet in either Beech Grove or Downtown Indianapolis depending on the day of week and time of day.
