Put a timer on your freezer so it doesn't run at night. I did that with our freezers and our battery (6k watt) will pretty much last all night. Since no one gets in the freezers at night nothing will thaw. It also helps to keep the freezers full even if you have to freeze gallon or ½ gallon jugs of water.
