First and foremost I do not shop at Target. But was reading an article in the Washington Free Beacon It shows a target store with basic personal products under lock and key! So let’s get this now on top of waiting in line to check your self out they want to bring the Walmart Ammo Buying experience to Target? I need a key at Health and Beauty someone wants to purchase. Deodorant.

Yes liberal policies do have unintended consequences for those that are so fond of them.

Is not just NY. Was recently in Columbus OH, at a lowes near the fairground/football stadium and saw the snow blowers INSIDE the store with heavy cables on them. An associate said they had the cables cut and two stolen the previous weekend.

Yup. Becoming very common in blue cities that don't prosecute retail theft. Target lost something like $400 mil this year to theft.

When ya shelter the beast ya have to feed the beast.
It sucks. Still not really seeing the changes in stores here in Indy but you can't blame the companies for doing what they have to do.

Not just stores. You know shipping theft is absolutely wild now.

Yep, in coastal $h!tholes, whole sections are under lock. Personal hygiene products, laundry detergent, condoms, cosmetics.

Because those have easy resale on the streets — driving through bad areas, you see a dude on the corner with a folding table loaded with Tide bottles.

Imagine waiting for a manager to unlock a cage just because you need to do some laundry.

And the sheeple with their normalcy bias believe it cannot happen in their neighborhoods…

Agreed, I don't blame the retailers, unless they've cucked to BLM, Antifa, Defund the Police or some other BS.

It's the aforementioned blue cities with their soft on crime, free bail, socialist prosecutors turning these monsters back onto society to repeat at nauseam.

I just read an article where a "soft on crime activist" who helped usher in criminal reform in Washington DC was murdered on the very day the legislation took affect. It's good to see karma alive and well in places common sense died a horrible death.

The Walmart close to my work in SE Fort Wayne keeps all baby formula stored in a locked dressing room. At one time they kept baby food in there as well.

I have heard rumblings they are actually thinking of closing this store due to so much product walking out the door without paying for it.

That would almost certainly be the Silver Drive central Lowe's. That isn't a football stadium (that's on campus) but the now defunct MAPFRE stadium where Columbus Crew soccer was played

Hopefully that close to the fairgrounds you were armed and it was still daylight

It’s actually pretty hilarious. Most big retail did bow down to the wokeness, and as a show of gratitude, the wokeness has absolutely robbed them blind, but if you look at any big corporations advertising, they are STILL bending over and grabbing their ankles with a nice big, diverse smile on their faces.

It’s truly the most bizarre behavior for corporations that I can imagine.
