Just picked up a 365 macro as well.. interested in following this thread. My first Sig.. I liked the size, capacity and of course their reputation for reliability. Will have to shoot it soon!

Who exactly is this random F? Is he living in the desert or something? MAC was one of the first and loudest complaining about P365 issues when they first came out and now he not only carries a P365 XL most of the time, he has a standard P365 and reviewed the Macro and had nothing bad to say about any of them. I trust his opinion (and other YT personalities) much more than this guy. I haven't carried my Macro yet, but I've put a couple hundred rounds through it without any of the problems this guy describes. Will keep an eye on things, but I have a hard time believing the Sig Nitron finish has the issues he's complaining about.

I have been carrying my Sig 365 on duty for years now and it doesn't have any rust. My Macro is fine also. I wonder what he is doing differently.

Could have a holster that doesn't cover much, like one of those minimalist holsters. Or maybe doesn't wipe off the sweat and/or lube correctly for carry in hot months? I know I've found with two carry guns that sweat gets in places you don't want and causes issues. I now wipe down good and also make sure the mag release and other areas are well lubed, as they tend to get rusty during carry.

FWIW, I bought the Macro and liked it so much I bought a Macro Lower to run on a 365x slide/upper and chopped the lower down to accommodate. I’m not putting thousands of rounds down mine, but I have shot them both a fair bit. They have been 100% reliable, shoot great, and fit my hand like a glove. Even got into the red dot scene, which was challenging at first, but really enjoy it now.

I would think if there were widespread issues like the guy in the video had, you would see it everywhere. When the P365 came out and had striker drag issues and firing pin issues, there were tons of videos and forum posts on the issues. I'm not seeing anything other than this one guy talking about this and I watch and read a ton of reviews on the gun.

Bought the macro this week and yet to shoot it but everything else I really like! Compared to 43x I’ve been carrying and shooting this just feels better I will post more after I run a few mags thru it 8B28E285-D0BE-4D97-AA40-7AD338BDA9CB.jpeg F3273822-1927-4B1D-9FDA-6D79D7D8F924.jpeg

Im not a photographer, and this is not a "review"... Just sharing some thoughts.

I picked up the Macro yesterday. Probably my favorite offering in the 365 line to date (haven't shot it yet). Compared to the other 365s, the grip feels much better in my hand. For the slightly bigger grip and increased mag capacity I don't think the added size is too much of an issue.

Ive shot the spectre comp quite a bit, and i shoot it much better than the regular 365xl. Is it the comp? Is it the trigger? I can't really say, but the Spectre comp is much more "shootable". The recoil impulse is definitely better. It's not tamed a ton, but the comp does have a noticeable difference (I would say the advertised 20% is accurate). Will report back one I shoot it, but again I'm sure it will shoot just like the Spectre if not better with the larger grip.

Trigger in the Macro feels the same as the regular 365xl. It's not terrible, but it's not great either. The Spectre comp trigger is smoother, and you can tell they did work on it.

I ended up grabbing a holosun 507k and a TLR7a to throw on this gun. I also ordered an appendix right from Trex arms with the spare mag attachment. I typically carry a g17 with an x300v in an appendix holster and this is obviously much more comfortable.

I will attach some photos for you all to check out the size comparisons.

Cheers. View attachment 218116 View attachment 218117 View attachment 218118

Never saw one with a gold trigger! That is super cool! Nice triple threat there. Now the hard part must be deciding which one to carry!

I shot mine again yesterday and really enjoyed it. I actually shot it better than my normal EDC, though previous times have been comparable. I found the holster I use for my P10C OR actually fits the gun, though there's a little wobble since the holster isn't made for it. Wouldn't carry with it, but I can at least use it to practice drawing from the holster at the range a bit.

So, I bought the Macro…. Great pistol. The "comp" didn’t help me at all but YMMV.
The other day, I was at an LGS and they had the TACOPS model….it came home with me! 4 mags for less than I paid for the XMacro!

I have the Macro and I have a Shield Plus. Both are great guns. I go back and forth over which I prefer. I like the fact that the Macro has a higher capacity, but the Shield Plus is a bit smaller. I need to see which conceals the best and need to do some holster drills to see which I shoot the best. At the range shooting paper they're very similar. Some days I shoot the Macro better, sometimes the Shield Plus. Honestly not a bad problem to have, figuring out which is better for me... ;)
