I am also looking for a shoulder rig. Check out alien gear they have some cool features that may interest you and the cost isn't outrageous. Still expensive but I might give it a shot. If I do I will come back and let you know my experience with them.

I got the Kenai I like it a lot but even with a zip up concealment is an issue. Which I knew going into it but wanted it for hiking and such also. I am going to look into the nicer shoulder rigs but that still won’t help me come nice weather.
